I find out how people decide, trust and get stuck, then help product teams build the next thing on that evidence.

Four studies, from first question to what the team could do next.

Each one opens as its own page: the question, how the research ran, what people showed us, and where the evidence stops.

  1. IIFL · B2B partner platform · Discovery research

What partners need from an advisory platform

How do partners actually run and grow their business, and what would make a platform feel like an adviser instead of a report?

Role: led the research end to end

  2. IIFL · Retail investing · Mixed methods and usability

Why investors hesitate to trust a stock call

Investors had recommendations to act on. The research asked how they found them, judged them, and kept track after they bought.

    Role: UX researcher on GemRush

  3. IIFL · Lending · Prototype evaluation

Finishing the form was not the hard part

People completed the redesigned personal-loan journey. They still questioned the wording, the support and the speed it promised.

    Role: UX researcher, IIFL Loans

  4. IIFL Securities · IPO bidding · Funnel, interviews and observation

Why people hesitate on an IPO bid

The data showed where people left an IPO journey. Phone calls and screen-shared sessions showed why.

    Role: UX researcher, IIFL Securities

Watch one question turn into a recommendation.

A simplified walk through the GemRush research. Scroll slowly; the card on the left changes with each step. The drawings are illustrations, not product screens.

  1. Step 1

Start with a question a team can act on.

GemRush gave investors stock recommendations. The business wanted to know whether people could discover those calls, judge them and act with confidence.

  2. Step 2

Pick methods that answer different parts of it.

Heuristic review, a survey and interviews, funnel analysis, a competitive study and usability sessions. Numbers say where people drop off. Watching and listening says why.

  3. Step 3

    Watch where people hesitate.

Participants struggled to tell which calls were current, looked for the reasoning behind a call before trusting it, and misread what on a card could be tapped.

  4. Step 4

Turn the hesitation into a specific change.

Show the date and status clearly. Put the rationale next to the call. Make recommendations easy to track after purchase. These were proposed as fixes, each tied to something observed.

  5. Step 5

Say what the study cannot tell you.

It was a small study, so the counts describe these participants, not all investors. The designs were proposals; the research files do not show which shipped. Good research says so.

Research that stays close to the people using the product, and the people building it.

I lead mixed-methods research on AI-first products, fintech, healthcare and consumer technology: 0-to-1 discovery, foundational research, usability evaluation and the research programmes around them.

My work is turning messy behaviour into findings a product team can use, and partnering with product managers, designers, engineers and business leaders so those findings change what gets built.

I trained as a product designer, which shapes how I frame research for the teams that build on it.
